The United Nations has published a recent report, it estimated that the human population on Earth will exceed 9.6 billion by 2050. He added that in the next 50 years from 2050, the increase would be above 10 billion.
Much of the increase in population, is expected to be in less developed countries with low per capita income. A huge increase is expected in sub-Saharan regions, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Uganda and Congo. In these countries, women still give birth to about five to six children in the family. Meanwhile, most Western countries have controlled their population and women to be mothers of only 2-1 children on average.
However, some developed countries are also at the forefront of being highly populated. There is no doubt that these countries have taken measures to maintain stability in its population, but still reached a high level of population. Here is a list of the ten most populated countries in the world with its total population.
Japan
Japan's population is estimated at 126,999,808 as of July 1, 2014. This is equivalent to 1.75% of the total population in the world. The density in Japan is 336 inhabitants per square kilometer. 93% of the population is urban. High rates of growth in the late 19th and early 20th century are the main reasons for the size of population in Japan.
But birth rates fell, and almost no immigration, has led to a loss of population in recent years. The country, which is known as the land of the rising sun around the world, become the highest life expectancy rates in the world, at 81.25 years, as recorded in 2006. Estimates suggest that the population this country will continue to decline by one million each year. In 2060, the population is expected to stand at 26 million.

Bangladesh

Indonesia

In the 11 provinces, special municipalities, and autonomous regions of the southeast coast, the population density was 320.6 people per square kilometer.
For many centuries, China has maintained its position as the most populous country in the world. Since the beginning of the 1950s, several campaigns of population control and family planning had begun in the country. The rapid population growth was a concern for the government.
The population is concentrated in the east of the mountains and south of the northern steppe. The most densely populated areas include the Valley of the Yangtze River, Sichuan Basin, North China Plain, the Pearl River Delta, and the industrial area around the city of Shenyang in the northeast.
