Rio de Janeiro

The Pantanal

Natural Aquario

The archipelago of Fernando de Noronha
An archipelago of 21 islands and marine natural park with beautiful beaches on the north-east coast of Brazil, off Natal. The main island of the archipelago Fernando de Noronha, a World Heritage by UNESCO, is famous for its scuba diving spots. You can see many dolphins. The archipelago is located 345 km off the north-east coast of Brazil (one hour flight starting from Recife). Within 17 km from the town of Cambara do Sul (north-east of the State of Rio Grande do Sul), two contiguous national parks where you can see spectacular canyons, especially those of Fortalez and Itaimbezinho (the biggest of Brazil). The best time to make the trek goes there from May to August (September avoid - poor visibility due to fog).
Beaches
If you like beaches, Brazil offers some of the finest beaches in the world. Some of popular beaches are Jericoacoara, Porto de Galinhas, Praia dos carneiros near Tamandaré, Lopes Mendes Ilha Grande, Praia do Toque in Alagoas, Taipus de Fora Beach to Marau, Farol and Forno Beach in Arraial do Cabo (2 hours from Rio route ), dolphins Bay in Praia de pipa (to see the dolphins) and finally Gales Maragogi.
