The Omni Mount Washington Resort
The Omni Mount Washington Resort is located in Bretton Woods, in the center of the White Mountain National Forest, and is New Hampshire's most famous, magnificent, and opulent hotel. With its expansive white wings and bright red roofs, this arching superstructure is nearly as magnificent as its history. It was the most opulent hotel in the world when it first opened its doors in 1902. It was frequented by the rich and famous of Boston, New York, and Philadelphia, featuring major names like Thomas Edison and many US presidents.

You may now stay at this ancient hotel and be well pampered. There are many amenities available: An award-winning ski resort, indoor and outdoor pools, a 25,000-square-foot destination spa, golf courses, horse stables, restaurants, a speakeasy, an arcade, a children's playground...do I need to go on? At this resort, you will never be bored or worried. Not to mention that your stay will be framed by a magnificent mountain range.
Mountain Edge Resort & Spa
If you stay at Newbury's Mountain Edge Resort & Spa, you may just fall in love with Lake Sunapee. This part of New Hampshire, located halfway between Southern New Hampshire and Dartmouth College, has long been overshadowed by Lake Winnipesaukee. But there's a reason Steven Tyler – yep, Aerosmith's lead singer – picked Sunapee as his home. When you come, you'll understand why with that summer camp memory, the calm mountains, and a clean lake in a beautiful environment.

The Mountain Edge Resort will place you right in the middle of everything that makes the Sunapee Region so unique. You'll have close access to Lake Sunapee (of course) and beautiful mountains like Mt. Sunapee and Mt. Kearsarge, where you can go hiking, kayaking, skiing, ziplining, swimming, or fishing. The resort itself, with its stunning Adirondack-style architecture, provides much than simply convenient access to Sunapee. You may enjoy an on-site rustic pub, indoor and outdoor pools, a full-service spa, and a fitness center in addition to being within walking distance to Mount Sunapee State Park Beach.
Wentworth
You'll be on island time at the Marriott hotel Wentworth By the Sea. This opulent seaside resort is situated on the tiny island of New Castle, which is one of New Hampshire's oldest towns. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: New Hampshire may have the smallest coastline in the United States, but we certainly know how to make the most of it!
You can enjoy a luxurious hotel experience without the exorbitant price tag when you stay at Wentworth. This 10,000-square-foot hotel can accommodate events, business meetings, and weddings. Many of the apartments and villas offer breathtaking views of the ocean. They also feature a fitness facility, a full-service spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and restaurants that specialize in New England cuisine.

You'll be directly on the beach in Wentworth, with easy access to other great coastal treasures like Portsmouth and Odiorne Point State Park. It's very simple to get to downtown Portsmouth, where you can enjoy the city's nightlife, bike or walking tours, boats, and excellent shopping.
Loon Mountain Resort
It's no coincidence that we keep mentioning the White Mountains. This part of the country (no pun intended) is brimming with adventure and natural beauty! Near the winter, Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, smack dab in the midst of the White Mountain National Forest, comes alive. Beginner and expert skiers and snowboarders will both have a great time here. The ski area, which spans 300 acres, has four peaks, seven lifts, and 47 distinct routes. If you're just getting started, you may rent equipment on-site or attend lessons.

For your weekend vacation in Loon, you may choose from a variety of inns, lodges, and condominiums. B&Bs, Nordic-style chalets, contemporary condominiums, or budget hotels are all available. You won't have to worry about getting about since the resort provides shuttle service to and from Loon Mountain. Last but not least, Loon Mountain is home to New Hampshire's longest gondola sky-ride! Take the 1.3-mile hike to Loon Peak and be inspired by the stunning vistas of the White Mountains.
Dartmouth's Hanover Inn
For a moment, let's speak about an underappreciated part of New Hampshire: the Upper Valley. This tiny hamlet cluster along the Connecticut River, on the boundary of New Hampshire and Vermont, is both unknown and unique. Its allure may stem from the fact that it is relatively unknown; nonetheless, it has a lot going for it. Hanover, the beautiful home of Dartmouth College, is the heart and spirit of the Upper Valley.

The Hanover Inn is unrivaled for a weekend vacation in Hanover and the Upper Valley's surrounding treasures. The Hanover Inn, which has been in operation since 1813 and is located downtown close to Dartmouth College, is a beautiful, historic hotel. It's intended to be a chic, boutique hotel that yet manages to seem warm and inviting (don't miss out on their free freshly baked cookies!).
You'll be located next door to the Hood Museum of Art and on South Main Street, which is dotted with restaurants, cafés, and name-brand apparel shops when you stay at the Inn. Everything is within walking distance, and you can relax on the big grassy quad just outside your front door while exploring the Dartmouth campus. A visit to the Hanover Inn isn't complete without a meal at Pine, the hotel's fine dining restaurant. The cuisine is delicious and locally produced, in keeping with Hanover Inn's dedication to being an environmentally conscious hotel.
