Have you ever wondered what the secret behind those gorgeous fall and winter nail art designs that are posted on Instagram, Pinterest, and other aesthetic profiles? Well, certainly not magic but they turn out magical indeed! Celestial, grand, and charming, every nail art is unique and creates a distinguished aura for the clients.

Fall & Winter Nail Art Designs

However, it may not be feasible to head to the parlor all the time to get your nails done. Of course, there is a matter of budget! Creativity is something that all of us hone inside us and we should try by ourselves.

So if you want something seasonal for your nails. For a classic fall and winter nail art design, or romantic fall patterns, you are looking at the right place. We have a few tips for the ones who are trying to do these gorgeous designs at home. So let's get started, shall we?

Don't forget to clean like Monica

Monica Geller was obsessed with cleaning and maybe you should pick up that habit too when it comes to nail art! Everything needs to be perfect from the very start if you want your nail art to indeed turn out salon-like. Do you know what an expert would never skip?

Yup, cleaning the nails. It does not imply that only when you have old polish on the nails, do you need to clean otherwise it is fine. Cleaning is needed even when your nails are transparent and white. The edges should be signed with a cotton swab dipped in acetone to remove traces of anything extra and roll the swab over the nail bed for better results.

The purpose of cleaning your nails is to prevent any form of infection from building in your nails due to the deposition of dirt and dust particles in the nooks and corners.

Apply the polish uniformly

A lot depends on the way you apply the nail paints. Unless uniform coats are applied on the nails, they will certainly not look great! So if you are a beginner then you should start with the practice of application of nail paint in the right way.

Of course, this will take you time but practice makes the man perfect, so why not? After a few trials and blunders, you will surely perfect this skill too. The process goes as you apply the first coat, you wait for a while and then you allow it to get dry! Another coat is like the finishing touch and then you are done.

What about the edges

Yup, we admit it is hard to apply around the edges and some of the polish may spill or smudge around the corners! But like you do with an eraser on the paper, why not use a nail paint remover here too? Even for experts, it is not possible to be perfect but you know what?

All you need is a thin brush and acetone to get it removed. This way even if your edges do not look that great, they certainly will after you have cleaned up the mess.

Oh, we almost forgot about the cuticle oil

We wouldn't deny that cuticles are prone to getting dry or may be subjected to wear and tear while you push them back. The key is to keep them soft and moisturized so there is no unwanted bleeding or infection in the cuticular region, after all, you don't want nail art to be a painful experience, do you? Cuticle oil must be applied to your finger near the nails to soften the dry skin which makes it easier to clear the debris.

This is not a hasty process

There is one thing that you can not skip when it comes to nail art! You have to allow your nails to dry off first. Many times, when time is a constraint and you are in a hurry to finish off the design, we are super hasty. If you want your designs to be fancy and long-lasting then you have to make sure that you give enough time after every step.

Among everything that you do in life, nail art is not something that you do as a part of your hasty job. After all, it is not three minutes of instant noodles! Unless you want some smudges or ruined designs, do not hasten through the task. Especially as a beginner, you must follow every step precisely to acquire the salon-like look! To portray something professional, you need to put in the extra effort that the experts put in.

With that, we feel we have shared more or less all the safety tips that you should follow while doing nail art. As long as you stick to the rules, getting nail art done at home will be easy.
